About
A roaming ex-pat Brit, mainly living in Malaysia, who enjoys taking random pictures on his travels. Enjoys fast motorcycles, every kind of music from Aphex Twin to Frank Zappa, Japanese food, eccentric or off-beat films, strange and beautiful books, and the stretching of the mind to learn more about the science of the universe that we inhabit. Deeply skeptical and questioning, but tries not to spiral down into cynicism. Doesn’t always succeed.
Owns and runs, with his wife, a cafe in Taman Danau Desa in KL, where he hopes to meet all of you whenever you’re passing
It is called Cafe Libre - and we make awesome coffee, even if I do say so myself…
Now entering his mid-forties, he is fortunate enough to be married to the most incredible woman, that he first met when we were both sweet 16, married at 25, and who has kept him sane, and relatively undamaged by his obsessive nature, all these years. He is a very, very lucky man.
You have nice collection of photos and interest.

oO Someone pointed out your cafe to me when I was there. Not sure if it’s the right one though. Tell!

i have been to your cafe several times. i enjoy the food and the laid back mood but found the music — mostly local radio — a little… well, what can i say? why don’t you play more of the stuff you like — like aphex twins or frank zappa? i think that would really enhance the personality of your cafe.

What an excellent comment! It comes down to pleasing the “majority” as opposed to “inflicting” my personal tastes.

I’ll work it in gradually.
Thank you so much.
